The Decatur Public Library will be temporarily closed starting on September 8th at 6:00pm.


The library will be opening at City Hall on September 19th at 10:00am.


The library will remain closed from Saturday, September 9, 2023 until Monday, September 18, 2023.

Library services including books, inter-library loans, computers, copier, and reference services will open at City Hall on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

We will be operating out of City Hall until April or May of 2024 when our renovations are scheduled to complete.

Please keep an eye on your email and the library's social media for updates.

Our Hours for City Hall will be:
Tuesday & Wednesday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Thursday & Friday: 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
