Due to Covid we do not do the traditional in-person tax preparation. Instead, tax preparation is done remotely. You do have to fill out forms and we do need to see your tax documents. You can provide those in two ways:
SCAN: You come to the library; fill out the forms; and we scan your tax documents.
VIRTUAL: You fill out the forms and upload your tax documents from home.

SCAN tax preparation
With Scan tax preparation you do not have to upload any documents. We will do that for you. Scan preparation goes as follows:
Make an appointment
You must make an APPOINTMENT. We are at the library on Mondays from 10 to 5. You can make an appointment by clicking on the image above.
Bring your tax documents to the library
MASKS ARE REQUIRED
You need to come to the library for your appointment. Please bring all your tax documents, your photo ID and Social Security cards for everyone on the tax return. If you are filing jointly with your spouse, your spouse has to come too and bring a photo ID.
At the library you fill out the intake and consent forms (click on the image below for intake and consent forms). We will review your forms and documents and discuss all the details. Next we scan your documents and store them securely online. We give all documents back to you and you can leave the library.
